# CloserTo

> CloserTo is the free real-time multiplayer trivia and estimation game in the browser: every player answers the same question at once, gains or loses HP based on accuracy, and gets eliminated at 0 HP. Up to 128 players, built for Twitch streams and trivia/quiz nights. Also in German (Deutsch) at https://closerto.io.

CloserTo (closerto.io) is a server-authoritative, real-time multiplayer trivia and estimation game. Players join a lobby via an invite code, answer the same trivia or estimation question round after round, and fight to survive with an HP system. There are ranked and casual leaderboards, skill tiers, and accuracy statistics. The game runs entirely in the browser, no download or install required.

CloserTo is built for streaming from the ground up. With the Twitch chat integration, an entire stream audience plays along directly from chat: viewers type `!play` and answer with a number or `A`/`B`/`C`/`D`, without ever opening the site. The included OBS/Twitch overlay (browser source) shows the question, countdown, live scoreboard, HP bars and reveal animation at stream resolution, including an interactive GEO map with numbered pins for map-guessing questions. That turns any Twitch stream into an interactive trivia/quiz show for hundreds of viewers at once.
